OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Ripon College freshman Peyton Vandeloo (Kaukauna, Wis., Freedom HS) was named Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week after a dominant stretch during the team's spring trip in Florida.

Vandeloo went 3-1 over four appearances, allowing just four earned runs in 16.0 innings while striking out 32 batters. She opened the week with five shutout innings and 10 strikeouts in a win over Franklin & Marshall, then added 11 strikeouts in a six-inning victory against Fredonia.

After taking the loss against Colby, she bounced back with a five-inning shutout against Morrisville State, striking out 11 and allowing just two hits in the win.

For the season, Vandeloo is 5-2 with a 1.24 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 45.1 innings pitched.
