OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Ripon College sophomore Alayna Sadowska (Oshkosh, Wis., Oshkosh West HS) has been named Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week following a strong performance this week on the mound.

Sadowska went 3-0 in her appearances, striking out 12 batters and posting a 1.38 ERA. She helped Ripon extend its winning streak to six games and improve to 13-5 on the season. This marks the second Red Hawk to earn the honor in softball this year.

For the season, Sadowska has a 5-2 record, continuing to anchor the Red Hawks' pitching crew.
