OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Sophomore Alex Ramus (Appleton, Wis., Appleton North HS) earned MWC Performer of the Week honors after a dominant offensive week for the Red Hawks, highlighted by a historic performance in Ripon's win over Knox.

Ramus went 4-for-5 with four runs scored and nine RBI in the victory, hitting for the cycle with a single, double, triple, and home run. His nine RBI marked one of the top single-game performances in the conference this season and helped power Ripon to a high-scoring conference win.

The sophomore continued to be a key contributor in the middle of the lineup throughout the week and currently ranks tied for seventh in the MWC with 13 doubles this season.
