HILBERT, Wis. -- The Ripon women's soccer team was selected to finish sixth in the 2026 Midwest Conference (MWC) preseason coaches poll, as announced today, August 25. 

Ripon returns an all-conference second team honoree, senior midfielder Martina Palazzolo (Sterling Heights, Mich., Utica Ford HS). Palazzolo notched two goals and two assists last season, helping the program to a sixth place conference finish after a 2-3-3 MWC record. Overall, the team went 4-9-5 across the 2025 season.

Defending MWC champion Lake Forest was selected as the top team for the coming season, finishing last season 21-1 after losing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. For the full preseason poll release, click here.
