FOND Du LAC, Wis. - The Ripon men's tennis team defeated Dominican (Ill.) University Sunday morning in convincing fashion, winning 7-2. The Red Hawks won all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-4, while also taking four of the six matches in singles play.

Ripon's doubles teams of Eric Seiler/Connor Greenwald and Tyler Hopewell/Anders Goodwin each won their doubles matches by a score of 8-1 at the number one and three flights, respectivley. The team of Ryan Slowinski and Brian Schumacher were also victorious at number two doubles by a score of 8-2.

In singles play, Seiler won at the number one flight, 6-1, 6-4, while Slowinski won at the third flight, 6-4, 6-2. Schumacher and Goodwin were also victorious at number four and six singles, respectively. Schumacher won by a score of 6-1, 6-0, while Goodwin won by a score of 6-0, 6-0.

The Red Hawks will try to stay on the winning track Wednesday when they'll travel to Lawrence University. That match will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Appleton, Wis.
