FOND Du LAC, Wis. - Ripon lost to Calvin College Friday afternoon by the narrowest of margins, 5-4. The Red Hawks won three of their six singles matches, but managed just one win in the three doubles matches.

Eric Seiler and Ryan Long each won their singles match in three sets for Ripon (1-9) at the number one and two flights, while Brian Schumacher won his number four match by default. In doubles play, Ripon's only win came at the top flight where Seiler and Long teamed up to win 8-5.

The Red Hawks will now get ready to face Monmouth College on March 22 at 3 p.m. That match will take place at Center Court in Fond du Lac, Wis.
