FOND DU LAC, Wis. - The Ripon men's tennis team lost to both Carroll University and Lake Forest College on Sunday by identical 9-0 scores.

In the first match of the day, Ripon lost all six singles matches in straight sets, with Eric Seiler's 2-6, 4-6 defeat being the most competitive match of the day. In doubles play, Carroll (9-9, 4-2 MWC) outscored Ripon by a combined score of 24-4.

The Red Hawks (2-16, 1-6 MWC) ended the day with a loss to Lake Forest (11-10, 5-1 MWC), which saw the Foresters win all six singles matches, before winning the three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-5. In singles play, Seiler again played in the most competitive match, losing 1-6, 6-1, 5-10.

Ripon will be in action again on Saturday when they'll play at Cornell and at Grinnell at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
