APPLETON, Wis. -,Ripon's men's tennis team lost to Lawrence University Wednesday afternoon, 9-0.

The Red Hawks (2-14, 1-4 MWC) lost the top five singles matches, while losing the sixth by default. They also lost the top two doubles matches by a combined score of 16-3, before losing the third and final doubles match by default.

Ripon's most competitive match came at number one singles where Eric Seiler narrowly lost, 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-7).

The Red Hawks will be in action again on Sunday when they'll play Carroll and Lake Forest. Those matches will begin at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, in Ripon.
