DUBUQUE, Iowa - Ripon lost both matches they played on Saturday, falling to the University of Dubuque and Lawrence University by identical 9-0 scores.

In their first match of the day, Ripon lost each singles match in straight sets, with the most competitive match coming at the top flight where Matthew Sablay defeated Lincoln Wurtz, 6-4, 6-1. In doubles play, Dubuque won the top two flights by a combined score of 16-0, before winning the third by forfeit.

Ripon played their first conference match of the season in the nightcap, falling to Lawrence 9-0. The Red Hawks lost all six singles matches against the Vikings, while losing the top two doubles matches by a combined score of 16-5 and losing the third via default.

The Red Hawks will be in action again next weekend when they'll travel to Owatonna, Minn. to play Bethany Lutheran and Simpson on Saturday at 9 and 12 p.m., respectively.
