OWATONNA, Minn. - Ripon's men's tennis team lost both of their matches on Saturday, losing to Bethany Lutheran and Simpson College by identical 9-0 scores.

Against Bethany Lutheran (1-7), Ripon (0-6) was most competitive at the number one singles flight where Lincoln Wurtz lost 6-3, 6-1. The Red Hawks lost the top two doubles matches by a combined score of 16-4, before losing the third by default.

In the second match of the day, Ripon lost the top five singles flights to Simpson (3-3), before losing the sixth by forfeit. They also lost the top two doubles matches by a combined score of 16-1, while losing the third flight by forfeit.

Ripon will be in action again next weekend when they'll battle Loras College on Saturday. That match will begin at 3 p.m. in Oshkosh, Wis.
