NEENAH, Wis. - Ripon's men's tennis team lost to Loras College Saturday by a score of 8-1.

The Red Hawks (0-7) were victorious at the number one singles flight where Lincoln Wurtz defeated Jason Derby, 7-6, 4-6, 10-8 (9-7). Jacob Kramer also played a competittive match at the number three flight, before losing 6-3, 6-3.

In doubles play, Ripon was outscored by a combined score of 24-7. Their most competitive match came at the number one flight, where J.J. Grinde and Lincoln Wurtz put up a fight before ultimately losing, 8-5.

Ripon will be in action again Friday at 6 p.m. when they'll face Calvin College at Center Court in Fond du Lac, Wis.
