BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Ripon's men's tennis team lost to Wisconsin Lutheran Tuesday afternoon, 9-0.

In singles play, Lincoln Wurtz played a thrilling match at the top flight, winning the first set 6-3, before losing the second and third 4-6, 9-11, respectively. None of the other singles matches lasted past the second set, with the sixth flight going Wisconsin Lutheran's way via default.

In doubles competition, Ripon was outscored by a combined score of 16-1 in the first two flights, before losing the third by default.

The Red Hawks will be in action again early next week at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis.
