JACKSON, Wis. - Ripon's men's tennis team opened their 2017 campaign Friday night, losing to Concordia (Wis.) (1-0) by a score of 9-0. The Red Hawks (0-1) lost all six singles matches, while losing the three doubles matches by a combined 24-2 margin.

In singles play, Steven Lanphier put up the biggest fight at the sixth flight before losing 6-0, 6-4. In doubles play, Jacob Kramer and Adrian Granados battled Concordia at the third flight, losing 8-2.

Ripon will try to get in the win column in their next match, Saturday, February 11 at Macalester College. That match will begin at 9 a.m. in St. Paul, Minn.
