RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon College women's soccer program is proud to announce the hiring of Jennifer Dimos as the 14th Head Coach in team history. This will mark the first head coaching job for Dimos at the collegiate level.
"I am excited about Jennifer joining our program and athletic department," Ripon Athletic Director
Ryan Kane said. "She brings a great deal of success as a player and coach, and has a passion that will be infectious with players, recruits and alums. I look forward to working with her during this new chapter in our program's history."Â
Dimos comes to Ripon from UW-La Crosse, where she has served as an assistant coach for the Eagles for the past three years. While at UW-L, Dimos assisted in all facets of running a nationally competitive Division-III women's soccer program, including training, recruiting, team operations, alumni engagement, fundraising, game day operations, and scheduling. In addition to her duties at UW-L, Dimos also served as Youth Program Director for Rush Wisconsin West Soccer in La Crosse, while also serving as a session coach for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program.
"I am very excited to step into the role as Head Women's Soccer Coach at Ripon College, and I believe this program has the ability to be very successful," Dimos said. "Ripon is a special place and the student-athletes that compete here are determined to succeed both on and off the field. I'm looking forward to leading the existing group and adding talented student-athletes who have the desire to be a Red Hawk."
Prior to her time at UW-La Crosse, Dimos served as an assistant coach at Smith College in Northampton, Mass. While at Smith, Dimos was able to gain experience scouting and recruiting, while also focusing on alumni engagement, team operations, and fundraising. She has also served as Head Soccer Coach for Global Premier Soccer Club in Wilbraham, Mass., and as Youth Soccer Coach for Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy.
Dimos graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. in 2017, where she played four years for the Tigers' women's soccer team. As a senior, she was selected as team captain as voted upon by teammates and coaches. She earned Second Team All-Conference honors on two occasions, while earning four varsity letters and starting every game during her career (72 consecutive starts).
Dimos holds a United States Soccer Federation National 'D' License, while also receiving her United Soccer Coaches Level 1 GoalKeeper diploma.
