Box Score RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's tennis team defeated Marian (Wis.) University 9-0 Wednesday night. The Red Hawks won all six singles matches, while also winning all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-6.

In doubles play, Drew Jorgensen ad Marcus Austin teamed up at the top flight to win 8-4, while the teams of Ty Rondestvedt/Jaden Francis and Calvin Battle/Eugene Pliska were victorious at the second and third flights by scores of 8-2 ad 8-0, respectively.

Jorgensen also won his number one singles match by a score of 6-3, 6-3, while Battle won his second flight match 6-0, 6-0. Preston Wurtz also won 6-0, 6-0 at the third flight, while Rondestvedt ad Francis were victorious by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores at the fifth and sixth flights. Austin also earned a team point with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at the number four flight.

Ripon will be in action again on April 2 when they'll begin conference play at Monmouth and Illinois College at 9 a.m. ad 2 p.m., respectively.
