PEORIA, Ill. – The Ripon College men's tennis team performed well at the Midwest Conference Individual Tournament Sunday. Drew Jorgensen, playing in the No. 1 singles consolation draw, bested Ethan Sabotta by an 8-5 count for the consolation championship title. The duo of Jack Ives and Austin Stevens picked up a consolation championship with a resounding 8-2 victory over Jovan Norris and Antonio Loaiza of Illinois College.

After advancing to the No. 1 doubles championship after Grinnell withdrew due to an injury, Drew Jorgensen and Caleb Sippel put forth an outstanding effort but came up just short in the 8-6 match.

CJ Counts and Ty Rondestvedt played their semifinal against Sam Rudenberg and Deuce Daniel from Grinnell. The Red Hawks' tandem lost by an 8-1 score.
