RIPON, Wisconsin – The Ripon men's tennis program has been picked to finish sixth in the league this season as the MWC Preseason Coaches Poll was announced on Friday morning.
Grinnell, who has won the last 19 Midwest Conference championships, has been selected to win the league once again in 2025. The Pioneers also enter the spring season ranked 32nd in the national preseason rankings by the ITA after advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last May.
In 2024, Ripon went 3-17 overall and 1-5 in MWC play. Second-year head coach
Sam Brickley brings back five players with collegiate tennis experience, highlighted by the top three singles players

Caleb Sippel and
Austin Stevens. Additionally, three freshmen join the fold in 2025:
Kyle Flook (Sheboygan, Wis.),
Ryan Richter (Plainfield, Ill.) and
Ethan Tines (Menasha, Wis.)
Ripon opens the 2025 spring campaign on Saturday (February 1) as the Red Hawks visit Saint Mary's (Minn.) for a 1:30 p.m. tilt. The home opener for Ripon is Saturday, February 22 as the Red Hawks face Concordia University Chicago at 9 a.m. and Dubuque at 3 p.m. The 2025 Midwest Conference Men's Tennis Team Tournament is slated for Friday, April 25 at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison, Wisconsin, while the MWC Individual Tennis Tournament is also at Nielsen on Saturday and Sunday (April 26-27).
