Ripon College Athletics

Art is the first player in Ripon’s 97-year football history to have his jersey number (85) retired. During his four-year career, he caught a record 152 passes for 2,473 yards and 26 touchdowns. His 10 catches for 248 yards in one game set a Wisconsin state college record. Selected to Kodak’s All-American squad in 1979, he was a three-year All-Conference selection and voted the team’s most valuable player during his junior and senior years.
