Ripon College Athletics

As a student and athlete at Ripon College, the late Tyrone Kleinhans was named the 1989 S.N. Pickard “Best All-Around Ripon College Man.” In basketball, he holds the 1987-88 season scoring record and is a member of the Ripon College 1,000-point club. He was named to the NCAA Division-III All-Midwest Basketball Tournament Team for 1987-88 and was a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division-III All-District Second Team in 1988-89. As the baseball team captain in 1989, Kleinhans was a First Team All-Conference player in 1988 and 1989.
