Karen Kuckhahn-Kehl was a four-sport athlete while at Ripon, playing basketball, volleyball, tennis and track. She was on the first women’s basketball and volleyball teams in 1971 and 1972, respectively. Playing in the pioneer days in women’s basketball, she played center and was a key player in a victory over Northern Michigan in a UW-Green Bay tournament. She was also a player-coach on the women’s tennis team. In track, she set school records in the shot put and discus.
