Ripon College Athletics

Bruce Haffner was a champion swimmer in three events during his time at Ripon, helping the team win two consecutive conference championships during his junior and senior years in 1971 and 1972. Upon his induction, 32 years later, Haffner still held the record in the 50-meter Freestyle. Additionally, he held the record in the 100-Meter Freestyle until 2003. Haffner was co-captain of the team and was the first swimmer inducted into the Ripon College Athletic Hall of Fame.
