Ronald Cooper '72 earned three varsity letters for Ripon's men's basketball team and graduated as the fourth-highest scorer in program history. A two-time First Team All-Conference selection, Cooper earned Team MVP honors as a junior during the 1970-71 season, when he finished second in the Midwest Conference in scoring with 19.2 points per game. He served as Team cocaptain in each of his final two seasons, scoring more than 400 points in each of those years. Cooper was the leading scorer (20.1 ppg) on Ripon's 1972 MWC Championship team. Ron is retired as Group Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc.
