Ripon College Athletics

Steve was a three-year letter winner in football. An All-Conference pick in 1969, he established a Ripon College record for rushing yards gained in a single season (1,053). With 2,024 career rushing yards, Thompson ranks among the top all-time rushing leaders for the College and was a member of the 1968 Conference Championship team. A two-sport athlete, Steve competed in track and field where he earned two letters.
