Ripon College Athletics

Harold Hamley was one of Ripon’s premier tennis players, winning more collegiate tennis matches in his four years than any player had in many years. A versatile athlete, he earned collegiate honors as a standout lineman on the football team and competed in championship play on the basketball squad. Hamley remained active in the tennis world after Ripon, presiding over state tennis associations and officiating at Forest Hills and Wimbledon several times.
