Ripon College Athletics

Erwin “Tiny” R. Trantow’s athletic ability brought honor and a conference championship in track to Ripon College during the early 1920’s. A conference high jump champion, Trantow also served as a cornerstone of Ripon’s football teams of that era. In 1923, when he was a junior, Trantow placed fourth in the grueling decathlon at the National AAU meet.
