Ripon College Athletics

Ron Ernst began serving as Ripon’s head football coach in 1991. Under his leadership, the team earned three Midwest Conference North Division Championships (1995-97) and two Midwest Conference Championships (1996 and 2001). He was named NCAA Region V Coach of the Year in 1995 and received the Midwest Conference Coach of the Year award in 1996. In 2001 and 2008, Ernst was recognized as Wisconsin Private College Coach of the Year. A 56-7 victory over Macalester College in 2005 gave Ernst the most career coaching wins in Ripon College football history. He has also recorded the most football coaching victories in Midwest Conference history.
