Ripon College Athletics

A premier wrestler for Ripon College, LeRoy won four letters and two consecutive Conference titles in the 177-pound weight class. Kirk took the Iowa State (1973) and Lawrence Invitational Championships (1972 and 1973) and represented Ripon College at the NCAA Wrestling Tournament in 1974. In football, Kirk started at the defensive middle guard position during his four years at Ripon and was named team captain.
