Jonny Gausewitz ‘06 graduated with six school records following his four-year career with Ripon Swim & Dive. A four-time individual champion and 14-time medalist in the Midwest Conference, Gausewitz won the 200 IM twice, the 400 IM, and the 200 Breaststroke against some of the strongest competition in the region. Two of Gausewitz’s school records from his senior season, 2:10.62 in the 200 Breast and 4:11.98 in the 400 IM, still stand today, twenty years after first being set. Gausewitz’s program bests in the events are the longest-standing records currently on Ripon Swim & Dive’s all-time leaderboard. During the 2004-05 season, Gausewitz was a member of the coaching staff for a team that yielded four individual conference champions, ten medalists, and 21 school records.
