Scott Gillespie '11 was a four-time All-Conference selection for Ripon's men's basketball team, earning First Team honors in each of his final three seasons while playing for his father, fellow Ripon Hall of Famer Bob Gillespie. Scott's career culminated as a senior when he was selected as the 2011 MWC Player of the Year and Second Team All-American. He also was a three-time All-Region selection, making the First Team as a Senior. The school record holder for career assists (602), Gillespie ranked third and second in Division-III for assists per game during his final two seasons, respectively. He graduated with the most points in program history (1,871), averaging 19.8 ppg during his career. Gillespie also played one year of baseball for his father, batting .244 with five doubles, two home runs, 17 Runs Batted In, and 17 runs scored as a freshman.
