Bret A. Van Dyken ’99 played a key role for Ripon’s men’s basketball team on back-to-back Midwest Conference championship teams, which also qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 1998 and 1999. A three-time First Team All-Conference selection, Van Dyken was named MWC Player of the Year as a senior. He is also one of just three Academic All-American selections in program history. At the time of his induction, Van Dyken ranked 16th in school history for career points (1,202), eighth in blocked shots (51), ninth in 3-pointers (106) and 10th in 3-point percentage (.412).
