Jacob L. Gahart ’13 was an exceptional kicker, placing himself in the school record books for a host of categories including career field goals (first with 34); career scoring (second with 261 points); field goals in a single season (first with 15 in 2011 and second with 9 in 2009); single-game field goals (tied for fourth with 2, four times) and longest field goal (tied for second with a 47-yard field goal vs. Monmouth in 2009). On Nov. 5, 2011, vs. Lawrence University he added records for longest field goal (54 yards) and tied the school record for most field goals in a single game (3). He was Academic All-Conference three times, was placed on the Beyond Sports College Network (BSN) All-American First Team in 2011 and was a Fred Mitchell Award finalist in 2011.
