Hall of Fame
Jeff Szymczak ‘84 was one of Ripon’s most consistent downfield threats across all four years of his career with the football program. A three-time All-Conference honoree as a wide receiver, Szymczak earned two First Team and one Second Team honors. Szymczak’s statistics run throughout the team’s record book, as he still ranks first for longest pass completion (97 yards from Jim Braemer ’84 during the 1980 season), fourth in school history for career receptions (181), fourth in career receiving yards (2,828), and shares a spot at sixth all-time in receiving touchdowns (22). Szymczak also holds a share of Ripon’s record for most receptions in a single game, following a 1983 13-reception performance against Coe College. Szymczak led the team in receiving yards all four years of his career, including Ripon’s 1982 conference championship season.
